Business Groups Back Mike Davis

Mike Davis is pleased to announce endorsements from the St Johns Realtors PAC, the St Johns Builders Council and the Northeast Florida Builders Association in his bid for Florida House District 17.

“I am honored to be supported by these great business groups from our community. For over 20 years I have worked in the construction industry, and I understand the needs and environment we face. These organizations are a tool for both business and consumers, and I look forward to a continued relationship that will keep me informed of priority issues,” said Mike Davis.

Davis is President of A.D. Davis Construction, a family business. He grew up in St. Augustine and now, with his wife of 23 years, Darcy, raises four children there. Darcy was honored with the 2011-2012 Hartley Elementary Teacher of the Year Award. Mike has served on many community boards, and is past president of the St. Augustine Rotary, the St. Augustine YMCA and The Arc of St. Johns.

MIKE DAVIS WINS 64% OF VOTE IN CHAMBER STRAW POLL

ST AUGUSTINE – Mike Davis, a candidate for House District 17, thanks the supporters who came out for the Chamber “Politics in St Johns” Rally.

Over 250 attended the Rally and participated in a straw poll that gauged preferences in several local, state, and national races. Davis received 153 votes out of 238 cast for the three candidates in the House District 17 race.

“I want to thank the St Johns Chamber of Commerce for providing this opportunity for residents to meet the candidates and voice their support. I appreciate the confidence that voters across this county are placing in my campaign. I will continue to work hard to spread the message of the importance of job creation, quality education, less government and genuine integrity,” said Davis.

Local Law Enforcement Leaders Endorse Mike Davis

Associated Industries of Florida Endorses Mike Davis

Associated Industries of Florida, one of the state’s biggest business lobbies, is endorsing House candidate Mike Davis over his opponent, Rep. Ronald “Doc” Renuart, R-Ponte Vedra Beach.

The group, which announced dozens of state endorsements Thursday, backs candidates based on interviews with its political council.
